Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. One of the busiest shopping days of the year. Stores open their doors extremely early to offer some amazing sales. We are often familiar with the pushing and shoving of the over greedy shoppers have on this day but did you know that people are often killed by them???? This year a 34 year old man was TRAMPLED to death. This man was an employee of a Wal Mart in Long Island. This crowd was described as so violent that the heavy glass and steel sliding doors were literally knocked off their hinges as the shoppers-stampede-to-be-first. Its amazing to me that people could be so ignorant and greedy enough to not even acknowledge another human beings life. This day has become so advertised and so big that it is now almost dangerous. It also was reported that a pregnant woman was pushed over and a few others were injured this year in this shopping frenzy.
Shoppers BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This honestly makes me sick. I heard about the man that got trampled to death at Wal Mart. Seriously America, what the hell. I don't participate in Black Friday cuz I would rather sleep in, and probably because I don't want to deal with crazy people. Yeah good deals are available but there are other times as well. Just not my think to be involved in anyways. ha. Hope no one in our class was hurt or affected by Black Friday. I also heard the amount of money Americans spent this year was 7% higher then last year. Amazing since the economy is amazing... wink wink.
I've been shopped on Black Friday several times and have not seen anything like this. Black Friday shoping is not for the weak but you have to wonder why people get so crazy. I enjoy a good deal but not at the sacrifice of someone's safety or their life. I hope that this incident is a wakeup call for retailers. Reassure shoppers that there are enough products to go around or if there are a limited amount of products then shoppers need to know that, too.
I know isn't it tragic. How crazy of a world do we live in for that to happen.
